Boosts Your Plants

Air consists of 78% Nitrogen (N2), 21% Oxygen (O2) and only 0,04% is made up from carbon dioxide (CO2). The controller measures the CO2 concentration and because of the closed system can also control the CO2 content so that the plants get more CO2 than in the normal atmosphere, which results in more plant mass per time.

A subtle light will give you feedback about what is going on, even without starting the app. Update process, operational, etc. – easily understandable and nice looking. Of course without light during the dark phase if you wish – some plants want to sleep, too.

The temperature and humidity sensors are connected via a cable which gives you the possibility to measure exactly where it's the most relevant - right between the leaves of your plant. Rely on known parameters or feel free to experiment with completely new values.

You have full control from your smartphone over a WLAN connection on it's own. All components are controlled wireless. Temperature

You Get to Choose!

The system is able to heat and cool the inside and is therefore suited for all outside temperatures, meaning hot and cold setup locations. Also the span in which the temperature can be controlled is the widest on the market. If you want to recreate the hot humid climate of the Amazon or the freezing cold of Siberia - everything from 10 to 40 degree Celcius is possible.

Closed System

Nothing Comes Out and Nothing Goes In

Because of the sealed enclosure the sytem works as a completely autonomous biosphere. There is NO air exchange with the surrounding atmosphere. Light and the supplied CO2 is all the plant needs - the climate inside is always perfectly regulated. No noisy vents blow out hot air, no smell comes out, CO2 level and humidity is freely selectable.

CO2 Grow Boost

From 200 to 10 000 ppm CO2

A high-tech CO2 sensor frequently measures the CO2 concentration of the athmosphere inside the fridge. Because there is no air exchange with the surrounding atmosphere, the CO2 concentration can be adjusted freely to your plants needs. You can also supply more CO2 than would be normaly available outsides, that means faster growth and more plant matter. You can experiment with different settings and will be surprised on how the influence each other.

Innovative Self-Supply

No Water Leaves the System

It's a closed water cycle. The plant evaporates water - that increases humidity. The cooling cycle condenses they humidity on the back of the fridge (think of a cold beer bottle on a hot summer day). The droplets run down through gravity and simply drip back to the roots of the plant. The plant evaporates and the cycle starts from the beginning. That means no watering.

Where Decisions Are Made

The Fridge Grow Controller is where all strings are pulled. Equipped with precise sensors for CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity it not only switches all components based on a unique control algorithm but also stores all data for later analysis via the app on your smartphone. Climate programs which automatically select different settings for the phase your plant is in are available.

Constant Temperature

The system can heat, too. That means that the temperature is always at the level you which it to be, especially during the night, when the light is off. This results in constant temperatures, permanent and precise. Another nice thing is being able to kill pests with hot temperatures.

Light

Photones for the Plant

You can use your favorite plant lamp. The white walls reflect the light and cause a good distribution in the whole system. The algorithm is flexibel enough to react to the heat created by the lamp and switches components accordingly. A lamp power ranging from 80 to 130 Watt is recommended for most fridges.

Fan

Air circulation

The air inside the system is circulated permanentely wich causes the conditions of the air to be evenly distributed and prevents mould from forming. The quiet fans on the inside are run with low voltage. They are barely noticeable from the outside. You can use the product of your choice. Everything from USB powered table fans to PC components can be used. Around 5W of power should do the trick.

All components are simply plugged into remote controlled sockets, which are switched on and off as needed by the controller. A unique code per socket is used to prevent disturbances in the communication. This means the choice of components is very free as everything with a stander power plug can be used and the controller just switches the sockets.

Refrigerator

Stay Cool

The refrigerator is used for cooling, but also to control humidity and watering your plants (please also see the system description). The fridge is well insulated and smell proof which enables a climate fully independent from the setup location. No smell, quiet operation and discrete looks are further advantages.
